My name is Brian Thompson, and I am running to bring genuine representation back to the good people of House District 46.
I have been humbled and overwhelmed by support I have received from friends, strangers, citizens and community leaders who have encouraged me to run. Their message has been uniform and resolute; our community is tired of being represented by a Republican funded, career politician who has pledged absolute loyalty to the Republican Speaker of the House and who continues to vote against the best interests of her district.
The citizens of this community have told me that we can do better, and with your help, we will!
There are three ways you can help us reclaim a voice and a vote at the State Capitol for our community.
First, we need your financial support, especially considering my opponent is funded by Bob Perry, the largest Republican donor in all of Texas. Please click the donate link on your right and make a contribution, and ask your friends to do the same.
Secondly, we need volunteers. If you have time to donate to this cause, or know someone who does, please sign up and let us know that you're willing to help.
Finally, and most importantly, we need your vote. Early voting starts February 19, and the primary is March 4. Help us spread the word that HD 46 needs a real democrat at the State Capitol.
